Starting therapy is a BIG decision. We can do it together.
I'm a Black therapist currently serving Missouri, Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia, and Colorado via tele-health.

Urban Ease Counseling and Wellness Collective® was founded out of a vision for a private practice where people can find rest and peace while conquering the complexities of the mind and world especially for communities of color. Research has shown that urban communities have many challenges that affect mental health including violence, poverty, high crime rates, loneliness, traffic accidents and so much more!

Ease
NOUN
ˈēz
1: the state of being comfortable: such as
a. freedom from pain or discomfort
b. freedom from labor or difficulty
c. freedom from embarrassment or constraint : NATURALNESS
VERB
1: make (something unpleasant, painful, or intense) less serious or severe.
Urban Ease is an experience. Being AT EASE is a big part of being calm in your body. Unfortunately, due to life, often times we trigger stress responses in our body which can lead to UNEASE and DisEASE.

I help people heal from difficult life experiences, develop healthier connections with self and others, while using their own internal strengths to build resilience and learning coping skills.
I combine my love with therapy and psychology to determine the best treatment plan for you. I love teaching mental health literacy and advocating for policies that are dear to me.

I don't have all the answers but together we can collaborate to determine what works best for you. Therapy can be brief or long-term depending on symptom severity. Don't let avoidance become your best friend. Find out more about my practice and services offered below.
